Working with an Architect came about over 8 years ago when we started speaking to Architects and Interior Designers about what they do.
Architecture is an incredibly hard path and a highly skilled profession with over 7 years training before having to set yourself up and prove your worth and ideas. Your career may start by learning the ropes at a large practice but ultimately the goal is to set up by yourself and be your own boss.
This, of course, is fraught with difficulties and lots of costs. Architects by their nature aren’t great at selling themselves or finding new sources of business to work on. They’re experts at what they do, designing, project managing and creating structures, homes and environments to work and play in.
We realised this was a chance to help those Architects, especially the brilliant but smaller practices. Helping to explain what they do to a layperson in simple but useful terms and connect them to the right Architect who has specialism they can help with.
